Open
the cartridge cover. If one or more ink cartridges is empty (for example
Black), the LCD displays "Cannot Print (Replace BK Ink)" or
"B&W Print Only".
·
Depress
on the discharge lever to unlock it and remove the cartridge for the colour
indicated on the LCD.
·
Open the new cartridge bag for the colour
indicated on the LCD, then remove the cartridge.
·
Turn the green knob on the protective yellow
cap clockwise to release the vacuum seal, and then remove the cap (1). You want
to hold the cartridge as indicated within the picture below.
·
Each colour has its own correct position.
Insert the cartridge within the direction of the arrow on the label.
·
Gently
push within the cartridge until it clicks, then close the cartridge cover.
·
The machine will automatically reset the ink
level.
Take note
that if you replaced an cartridge in your Brother MFC-250C, the LCD will verify
if the cartridge may be a fresh one. for every new cartridge you installed, you
want to press Yes or 1 or the Up Arrow Key to automatically instruct your
printer to reset the ink level fo that colour. On the opposite hand, if the
cartridge you put in isn't new, you'll press No or 2 or the Down Arrow Key.
After these
steps, refresh your desktop and check out to try to some test-printing to form
sure that you simply have installed your new cartridges correctly.
